A small picture passing by. Very poor seeing and strong humidity for this image unfortunatly...

CN212 cassegrain, focal lenth 2676mm, Bin3.

And a failure. This is not really HR, or at least it is far bellow the result i could get from this amazing optic. Several reasons led to this result : tilt induced by a loosy 2" extention tube, poor seeing (but good transparency) and some wind.

Processing has been a pain in the neck due to some distortion probably caused by the Paracorr making the mosaic assembly layer by layer impossible. I had to mount the whole LRGB picture in MaximDL, and then separate each layer in PS, thus loosing some resulution in the process.

So i just present the 70% mosaic, not the full one. The overall picture is still quite pretty to me !

CN212+paracorr F/4.4, 932mm. CCD Sigma2 8300 at -15° and Astrodon LRGB Gen2 true balance & HA 5nm filters. AP900GTO.
Two fields mosaic, 5h30 total L(HA+R)GB.
Sampling 1"19/pixel, FHWM  3 to 4".

M100 shot just before the air traffic was restored.

3h hours in the sky glow, including colors. But they aren't that useful though.

Atik 314L+ and the LX90 in LRGB.
